Welcome to World of Dance - one of the leading Dancewear and Fancy Dress suppliers in the Chelmsford and Essex area. Stockist of Roch Valley garments, Equity ladies shoes, Freeds shoes, adult and children's costumes, accessories and wigs.
World of Dance was established in 1988 by two dancers, and through their knowledge and experience of Dance, the business very quickly established itself as the main supplier in the area. In 1997 the Fancy Dress department was established, this also became popular very quickly. The demand for quality costumes and Dancewear became so great that in 2004 we moved to our present two floor showroom.
DANCEWEAR
Janette is our Dance Specialist. She was a dancer at the Weston School of Dance and the Madie Russell School of Dance and also helped to teach. With her dance partner they won many local dance competitions with their duet and group choreography.
Her knowledge of dance and the needs of dancers comes from experience.
FANCY DRESS
Peter and Christopher became partners in the business in 2004 when it moved to new premises. Both brought in new ideas on how to make the Fancy Dress Department stand out from a normal Fancy Dress Shop.(When a customer walks through that door for the first time and goes “WOW”, it proves it worked).
